Read the timeline. Prepare your defense.
Read the incoming attacks before choosing where to place your cards.
Read from left to right.
The timeline shows the order in which your cards and the enemies will attack.
Spot the enemy thumbnail.
Its position on the timeline shows when that enemy attacks relative to your cards.
See which card defends.
The enemy hits the card just left of its thumbnail. If the thumbnail comes first, your first card defends.

02 / PvP

Green arrows belong to team A; red arrows belong to team B.

Targets decide the group.
Attacks aimed left resolve first, then center, then right—even if their attacker stands on the right.
Teams take turns.
Within a group, each team attacks left to right. When one team runs out of attacks, the other continues.
Who goes first changes.
The team that attacks first changes with the target slot and the round. This shares the advantage of attacking first fairly between both players.
Position. Target. Anticipate.
Look at incoming attacks before confirming your placement. In PvP, remember that choosing a target also changes when an attack happens.
